Hundreds Enjoy Event at Atlanta Symphony Hall

Malcolm Gladwell, the best-selling author and staff writer for The New Yorker, joined Kredible Tuesday evening at an Atlanta event marking the company’s official launch.

“When we had the opportunity to help bring Malcolm to Atlanta we jumped at the opportunity,” said Kredible founder and CEO Brad Shepard. “His ability to look at situations that seem obvious and ask questions and present data that prove something different absolutely has influenced my thinking as we created Kredible.”

Gladwell, whose most recent book is “David vs. Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants,” spoke to a crowd of about 500 people at Atlanta Symphony Hall, including 150 of Kredible’s invited guests.

“We were very honored that so many of our current and, we hope, future customers came out to join us for our launch,” Shepard said. Guests at Kredible’s pre-lecture reception included partners from more than 40 large law firms, executives from some of the nation’s leading accounting and financial services firms, and several business leaders from other industries.

Kredible is an Atlanta-based technology company built to help business professionals take full control of their credibility in the online world. Kredible has developed a groundbreaking technology engine that allows entire organizations help all their employees transform how they establish their credibility in the online world.

Kredible customizes its products for different vertical industries based on deep research — ethnography, eye-tracking and other methods — that help us learn how decision-makers in various industries judge credibility online. The knowledge we gather goes into our technology engine, which allows us to give every individual employee of an organization specific directions on how to improve their online credibility, step by step, personalized just for them. We also show organizations, in detail, how its employees are progressing as they improve their personal credibility with LinkedIn and other business-related online tools.

“We started two years ago when we began our research into the legal industry,” Shepard said. “We’ve already begun our research into the commercial insurance industry, and we will soon move into other vertical industries, like accounting and financial services.”

Shepard said the Gladwell event “represented the culmination of lots of hard work for the Kredible team,” Shepard said. “But we’re just getting started. We believe that building and maintaining credibility in the online world will be a critical issue for business professionals for the foreseeable future.”
